Apple Mince Tart

Apple Mince Tart...a great dessert recipe to try ! Nice !

INGREDIENTS
  • 3 tart baking apples, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 cups mincemeat
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 4 teaspoons butter
  • 1/2 cup apricot jam, melted
  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).
In a bowl combine thinly sliced apples with lemon juice; tossing to coat evenly.
Spread mincemeat in unbaked pie shell; arrange the apples on top. Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Dot with butter.
Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the apples are tender. Brush with melted apricot jam. The dessert recipe is ready to serve...makes 9 servings.

Apple and Lemon Custard Tart

Apple and Lemon Custard Tart...a nice dessert recipe to try ! Great !

INGREDIENTS
  • Pastry for one-crust (9-inch) pie
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 Golden Delicious apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons apple jelly
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat oven to 425°F (220°C).
On lightly floured surface, roll out pastry to 11-inch round; line a 10-inch tart pan with pastry. Lightly prick bottom with fork. Bake pastry 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Set aside.
Reduce oven heat to 375° (190°C).
In large bowl with electric mixer, beat sugar and butter until blended. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in 3 tablespoons lemon juice and the flour. Pour batter into prepared tart shell. Arrange apple slices over egg mixture. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until set.
Meanwhile, prepare glaze for tart: In small saucepan, combine remaining tablespoon lemon juice and the apple jelly. Cook over low heat, stirring, until jelly melts. Spoon glaze over warm tart. Cool completely before serving....and the dessert recipe is ready .....delicious !

Blueberry Swirl Cheesecake

Blueberry Swirl Cheesecake... a nice dessert recipe to try !

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 3 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (21-ounce) can blueberry pie filling

INSTRUCTIONS
In a medium bowl blend together graham cracker crumbs, 3 tablespoons sugar, and melted butter; mix well. Press onto the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch springform pan; set aside.
Using an electric mixer softened cream cheese until light and fluffy. Gradually add 1 cup sugar; mixing well. Add in eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add in vanilla and beat well. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan. Spoon blueberry pie filling on top of the batter in a ring pattern about halfway from the edge of the cake. Pour the remaining batter on top.
Bake in a 375°F(190°C) oven for 35 to 40 minutes. Cool to room temperature on a wire rack. Loosen the crust from sides of pan and cool 30 minutes more. Remove the sides of the pan; cool cheescake completely. Cover and chill at least 4 hours before serving. The dessert recipe of blueberry cheesecake is ready to serve..hmmm...nice ! Enjoy it !

8-Minute Cheesecake

8-Minute Cheesecake...another great dessert recipe to try !

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 (8-ounce) container sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup non-dairy whipped topping
  • 1 (9-inch) graham cracker pie crust
  • 1/2 pint strawberries, hulled and sliced

INSTRUCTIONS
In a large mixing bowl beat cream cheese until softened; gradually add sugar. Blend in sour cream and vanilla until well mixed. Gently fold in non-dairy whipped topping, blending well.
Spoon into prepared graham cracker crust and chill. Garnish with sliced strawberries.
This great dessert recipe makes 8 servings. Great taste. Enjoy it !

Cherry Chocolate Fondue









Another great dessert recipe....the Cherry Chocolate Fondue.... a classic delight !

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 (6-ounce) package semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup whipping cream
  • 1 (6-ounce) jar maraschino cherries, well drained and quartered (reserve juice)
  • 2 (15.25-ounce) cans Bartlett pear slices in heavy syrup, drained
  • 1 pound cake or angel food cake, cut into 1-inch cubes

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place chocolate pieces and whipping cream in a 2-cup glass measure. Microwave for 1 minute or until chips are melted, stirring every 30 seconds. Stir in cherries and reserved cherry juice.
2. Pour chocolate mixture into fondue pot.
3. Use fondue forks or wooden picks to dip pear slices and cake cubes into chocolate mixture.

This dessert recipe is ready to serve ....what a nice taste of chocolate fondue.....great !

Baked Vanilla Cheesecake

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, chilled
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 4 tablespoons ice water
  • 3 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs, separated
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Sift flour and salt into a large bowl; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Mix
in 2 tablespoons sugar, egg and up to 4 tablespoons ice water to make a dough. Press into a ball and wrap in plastic wrap; refrigerate for 30 minutes.
3. On a floured surface, roll out the dough to fit a 10-inch springform pan. Place dough in the
pan without stretching. Refrigerate until ready to use.
4. Filling: Beat cream cheese until smooth in a large bowl; add remaining 1 1/4 cups sugar, egg
yolks, milk, oil, cornstarch and vanilla.
5. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff; fold into cream cheese mixture. Pour into
pastry shell.
6. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until the center is set. Turn off the oven and let the
cheesecake cool in oven with door open slightly. Remove cheesecake from pan and serve or
refrigerate. The dessert recipe is ready to serve...nice taste of vanilla ! Enjoy !

Australian Cheesecake

Try this great dessert recipe...the Australian Cheesecake dessert.....amazingly nice !

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs, separated
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon lemon peel, grated
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream, whipped
  • 2 tablespoons passion fruit, crushed
INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a medium bowl blend together graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Press the crumb mixture evenly onto the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 10 minutes and cool to room temperature before filling.
2. In a large mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese with 1/2 cups sugar until light and fluffy.
Add in egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each. Gradually add in flour, grated lemon peel, lemon juice, and vanilla. Set aside.
3. In a small pre-chilled bowl whip cream until stiff. In another mixing bowl, beat egg whites
until they form stiff peaks. Fold in egg whites and whipped cream into cheese mixture. Stir in crushed passion fruit then pour the mixture into prepared crust and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Cool, in the oven with the door ajar, to room temperature, then chill.
